My tribe is blue,
my hands are thick as cowhides.
My tongue- stolen and replaced
and yet I remain
strong and
willing with the ocean’s saltiness and care.
She carries my arms when I get to heavy to swim.
Hunting down the storms on the inside.
Praying that, our dream withstands the flames,
withstand the flames ♥

Love as always. I didn’t forget about the quote challenge. I am going to have to just do the quotes in one post due to my blog’s layout so I’m thinking this Friday. I also didn’t forget about your book. I’m definitely getting it soon!

Happy Easter, Krissy! I found your site from Tuesday Morning Love and I think your work is superb. Would you consider being a guest poet at my writers blog in April for my “Eye On The Poet” segment? I would love to share some of your poetry with my readers. See what we’re about here: https://clara54.wordpress.com/2015/09/19/eye-on-the-poet/ Let me know what you think.
Blessings,
Clara.
