rising in the silence,
sweeping softly
on April -winds
leaping bountifully in all that life is,
bushy-tail and wide open sky
serenade our prayer meetings
with cherry evergreens
on the wings of evening
affirming a
renewed-resurgence
I relax on the
precipice of peace
I release my need to worry
I lean into paradise
paradise leans into me
after the cross , there is glory
after the cold winter there is spring
after the weeping-waters
there is joy in the morning

“there is joy in the morning” may be the best description of Easter ever!

The promise of joy after weeping is what all those who grieve need. sometimes they feel the joy and sometimes they feel just the promise. It’s enough.

This is beautiful, Krissy. You are an excellent writer of poetry. I particularly like the lines, “after the cross, there is glory, after the cold winter there is spring, after the weeping-waters, there is joy in the morning.” Delightful words. Thank you for sharing this. Ellie x β€ β€
