Day24 #WritingMyselfWhole: If Nothing Else I’m Still Here

I almost didn’t write today. I almost allowed my distractions to get the best of me. I almost felt like giving up was the answer. However giving up is never the answer.ย  So I came back to the page. I came back to the place of hope. I came back to try again. I came back to say, I’m still here. I’m still writing. I’m still trying.

In the words of Toni Morrison “Freeing yourself was one thing claiming ownership of the freed self was another.” If nothing else I claim myself worthy of being free. I claim myself worthy to come again and again to the page.

Still, you are here with a greater purpose still ahead! There are positive distractions and there are negative ones. Sometimes those dasdardly negative ones seem to rock our world the most. You chose wisely my friend. You’re still here. Have a wonderful day. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฅฐ

I’m so glad you’re still here, Krissy. I’m sorry I’ve missed so many of your posts while being so poorly. I was happy to find you still here, so thank you for being brave and turning up when it wasn’t easy. The video was beautiful too. Thank you for sharing it. [I’m not always on here every day at the moment, so if I don’t manage to catch up with and comment on a couple of posts, please know I’m still very much thinking of you, my dear friend]. So much love to you and healing, comforting hugs Xxxx ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’›
