Poem: My Life, My Love , My All

Poet Krissy Mosley

She is a black gypsy
her law is love
it is the fruit of her lips
and when she gives
she gives out of her belly
ancient waters – running(s)
of wisdom from purgatory
of lost soul- she loves to find
binding the ashes together
binding the smoke and flame
shadows of all shades
shadows of days – in lonely
shadows of nights – in longing
shadows of scratching and surviving
and when she gives the trees bow at her offerings
the sky breathe(s) – fresh winds in her direction
seedlings jump into germination
conjuring up the power of connection
the power of affection
the power – a simple touch
to heal lost souls like mine

Your melody meanders through the breath and essence of life, spawned by a maternal nurturing. Love this Krissy! πŸ‘©πŸ½πŸ’–πŸ€—πŸ’πŸ˜‰πŸ¦‹πŸ‘ΈπŸ½

Dear Krissy, welcome back to WP. I’m so pleased to see you again and hope you managed to have a restful and peaceful time during your short break. This poem is beautiful as your work always is. You are so talented as a poet. It’s difficult to choose my favourite part of this poem, so I think if I had to choose, it would be these words:

the sky breathe(s) – fresh winds in her direction
    seedlings jump into germination
conjuring up the power of connection

I can visualise the breeze blowing the seeds, them connecting to other plants to reproduce even more beauty for this world of ours. Just my interpretation. I think every individual will be able to choose different words from your poem and visualise them for themselves as they experience them. Beautiful as always, my friend xxx πŸ’šπŸ’ŸπŸŒΌπŸ’ŸπŸ’›
