in my belly
rhythm in my step

I saw love and she was
beautiful- dancing
with my soul in winter

Something you don’t know about me:
That’s all I can think of :this is not a challenge, I just wanted to share a little about me. It’s been almost ten years since I’ve started this poetry blog and many bloggers may not have any insight of who I am…Blessings to all…
A piece of beauty from the artist Michael Leunig (Michael Leunig Appreciation Page)
Much love ,with a thankful heart….
Standing over walls of defeat
strengthening limb to limb
intricate spaces folding
undisciplined minds
trying to find reason
to let light in
to let fire spread
we hurt ourselves
lest we grow ourselves
in every direction
seeking progress…
VisionarieKindness 2015
In the Arms of stillness
breeds new life
Rushing shores of mercy
both tender and divine
within this sacred moment:
I release my eyes – that I might see
I release my ears – that I might hear
I release my arms that I might embrace
every fragile life in peace…

Upon grainy sands
she numbered them
Not alone
Thousand waves of heat
Not alone
though dark days come
Not alone
Wet and in despair
Lonely but not alone
A simple comfort
in distant friends
not alone
there is a path
carved out just for me

When the curtains fade
and there are no ques
to do it right
don’t stop dancing…
Some days
stillness can be moved
with thunder
and loud crashes of hail
but that’s where good stories begin…

I am Eva -former refugee, doctor and a writer. My parents were Holocaust survivors, I escaped communism. I wrote a novel, mixing family stories and fiction. A novel about Holocaust, communism, racism and emigration. What makes people leave, and what happens to the ones who do, and to the ones who stay. I believe these old stories are more important now than ever before.
