It takes faith to step into the deep
from a trickling outpour
of the things unseen…
It takes faith to step into the deep
from a trickling outpour
of the things unseen…
And when the man of time is done
Trees cut through and through
Oh’ Beastly – silly one
Give yourself to you
and not another
Lend your cares not to beg
In sorrow sow joy
In Mourning sow a gentle burst of sun
Fathering a simple plea
when my life is done
You shall see me again
kneading a shadow’s glow
in a dash hope –
life is sweeter
I am worth the dreams that live in me
I am worth the mountains that skip
soothing my troubled soul
cooling waters,open wide
exploding through the errors
down on Georgia st.
I am worth the journey…

I got up with a fire
in my belly
rhythm in my step
Poetry in my veins

I saw love and she was
beautiful- dancing
with my soul in winter

Upon grainy sands
she numbered them
Not alone
Thousand waves of heat
Not alone
though dark days come
Not alone
Wet and in despair
Lonely but not alone
A simple comfort
in distant friends
not alone
there is a path
carved out just for me

Open the windows of light
Inside night-falls’ holy wonder
Believe in yourself

Moving at crane speed
ever cultivating hope
Her wings- she did fly…

Maybe I’m breaking through my own soil. Finding the balance to live holistically healthy in spirit, mind and body. I am giving birth to a new me with the possibility of embracing happiness. I am here to experience love, and joy. The contrast of pain and sickness I am fully aware: in a world where dying is the end result, I still choose life. My launching pads are set, ready to journey deep into waters. I don’t have all the answers, yet something beckons within, holdout my fishing line and be ready for goodness to overflow.

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

I am Eva -former refugee, doctor and a writer. My parents were Holocaust survivors, I escaped communism. I wrote a novel, mixing family stories and fiction. A novel about Holocaust, communism, racism and emigration. What makes people leave, and what happens to the ones who do, and to the ones who stay. I believe these old stories are more important now than ever before.
